Professonal Cooking by Wayne Gisslen 7th edition free download

Here is a link to one of the best cooking textbooks you will ever find. Not only does it cover every area of cooking and baking but includes several other areas. If you are looking for a recipe I guarantee you will find it in this book.

The link below will allow you to open, no need to download anything or subscribe- just a free copy of a free book. If you do download please leave a comment about the book or even better let others know it is a simple download and is not attached to additional downloads, ads or any other gimmicks which  I personally hate when I go to download something and find out it is all a big scam. Today something really is just free.

Trouble downloading please let me know!

Free Educational Resources (Cook Books, College Texts for Culinary Classes) Etc

Any of you attending college or have in the past are aware of the costs associated with college texts. Any chance I get to hear about free resources I am in and wanting to know more as many of these books are not only the current texts for many college courses if there has been an updated version there is usually very little to no difference. The majority of the recipes are the same if anything they may have added an additional resource which is easy to obtain from the instructor or online.

I recently was informed of a few site one being Wiley which is a score considering they rarely share resources and when they do the costs associated with any open resource is only discounted. It looks like we may have bee\n lucky here so I will post all the information I received.

Also anyone in need of "On cooking I have a PDF copy in which I will send to those who need it, I just do not post the entire text online as there is where possible trouble may occur.

Helpful culinary sites- Award of Credit, Scholarships and useful info- Check it out!

In an effort to aide everyone on their culinary educational journey, I will continue to post as many helpful sites I can find, with the intent of educating and assisting you with your future endeavors!

The Culinary Trust

FUNDING  THE FUTURE OF FOOD

Sites such as the Culinary trust are important to the community as they encourage programs which meet the needs of those in need as well as programs which encourage culinary education programs. The future of culinary arts in higher ed is a concern as the number of culinary programs in comparison to other career paths is rather low in comparison. The majority of programs in academia are very limited and typically offer no more than a vocational certificate in the culinary field. What is more concerning is the current institutions that do offer Associate degrees in the culinary field, unfortunately, are not regionally accredited. When making the decision to pursue your education in the culinary field it is important to do one's research and find a school which offers what you are looking for. If you want to pursue an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Management then make sure you find an institution which awards Associate of Science degrees and is accredited by one the seven accrediting associations.  I will post a link which has more information and will help you identify the correct type of institutions.

The Culinary Trust focuses on these three areas;

  •  SUPPORT INNOVATIVE COMMUNITY SUPPORTED HUNGER RELIEF,
  •  ENCOURAGE FOOD WRITING THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE AND EMPOWERING  PASSIONATE LEADERS TACKLING IMPORTANT ISSUES IN FOOD

Dinning with Maryjane - Infused cooking and the future of edibles?

Dinning with Maryjane and the future of Edibles?

Moving beyond brownies, and other infused treats.
Do you consider yourself to have a more refined pallet?

With the explosion of edible products on the market how does one select the right product, what are the current regulations on edibles, and why has no one enforced any product standards?
Should edible products be held to the same safety standards as other food items on the market? Does the FDA enforce product quality and regulations?

I believe the manufacturers of these items should follow regulations as well as guidelines. The guidelines need to ensure product safety as well as enforce compliance otherwise consumers open themselves to a market of buyer beware and are left with no alternative to ever receiving any sort of compensation resulting in injury or loss.
While the market continues to grow I am going to post a product review blog for individuals interested in purchasing items but would like some feedback before breaking the bank- link to follow.

UPDATE here is the link for Edible product reviews

The 411 on 420 edibles

http://the411on420.blogspot.com/

Wanting to expand your culinary experiences, looking for alternatives to the common edibles on the market?
Many people rely on edibles but unfortunately eating brownies and/or gummy treats on a daily basis can be unhealthy as well as add additional health problems and/or weight gain.  Individuals with food allergies and/or diet restrictions/preferences are left with little to no options when it comes to finding healthy alternatives in the edible market.

In a growing market that has expanded greatly over the past few years how does one obtain a product, is there a method to selecting a product. I believe word a mouth is a great way to learn about products as honest consumer reviews provides real feedback from individuals who have sampled or experiences the item/product first hand.

Is your Interest Peaked?

Look no further..the following topics coming soon.
